There are many ways that we can get promoted and to receive more.
Sometimes a simple conversation can open an unexpected door.
At other time, people may bribe others to ensure that they get ahead.
Or sometimes people may persuade others with some action in bed...
This scripture reminds us of that "self-promotion" can cause us to boast.
We think our self-recommendation will shield and protect our new post.
However, nothing compares to God's promotions because he knows all things.
He alone signs-off promotions that last and the blessings his signature brings.
