Say positive things to yourself and to others

“It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.” Matthew 15: 11, The Bible (English Standard Version)

There are many negative things that are happening in the world today.
The media presents an angle of top stories which impacts what we say.
“There’s a recession!” “There are no jobs and there is no hope!”
We walk around in fear and we question how we are going to cope.

This scripture reminds us that we should take care about what we say.
Our words have positive and negative power that can change the direction of our day.
Pause before you speak and choose to speak positive words that bring life.
It can be too easy to be negative; together we can combat fear and strife.
