When it suits people, they want to hurt your heart and throw your past in your face.
They throw these things as if they haven't also come from a dark and secret place.
This happens so that people are distracted from seeing who they really are.
Yet when they want mercy and acceptance, they expect you to be at their side - not far.
This scripture reminds us that we have access to God to helps us each day.
He knows our past, secrets, hurts and joys and he does his best to make it all ok.
God sees us and "wipes the slate clean" so that we can start each day as new!
What a peace to know that we can start over - it's not too good to be true!
Amen! Today, it is a new day!
