"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. When someone says something nasty to you, it can be hard to take.
Some people don't realise that with words a heart or self-esteem can break.
People sometimes tell lies against you or say wicked things to make you feel bad.
It's a shame that some people make a choice to make others feel low and sad.
This scripture reminds us that we are blessed when others behave towards us this way.
In fact, we should "rejoice and be glad" because we'll be rewarded in heaven one day.
It can be easier to take things badly and to want to hurt someone back who hurts you.
But remember not to take it personally because the lies they say are not true!
