Smile!

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colours.” James 1:2-3, The Bible (The Message Version)

It feels itchy and it feels uncomfortable when we are experiencing tests in life.

We fail to see the sunshine - all we see is rain and dark clouds of worry and strife.

Life continues to “push our buttons” and we feel like we want to kick everything down!

How can we be happy in times like these? When all we want to do is cry and frown? 

This scripture reminds us to accept tests as a gift and all the while be filled with joy, not pain.

God has a purpose when we go through challenges – so that we exercise our faith again.

People may tell you the opposite and they may try to tell you that you are mad.

But while you go through, smile and stand tall! There is no time to be bitter or sad!
