“Even though I walk
through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod
and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4, The Bible (New International Version)
There are times when we feel like our whole world is coming to an end.
We lose jobs, we lose homes and we lose
family members and our best friend.
We try to sort things out so that we can do
our best and make it all make sense.
But instead of feeling peace and liberty,
we feel stressed-out and tense.
This scripture reminds us that no matter
how dark our “valleys” become we are not alone.
God promises to hold us up if we decide to
keep ourselves safely within his zone.
We can stay in God’s zone, by choosing to listen,
talk, trust and to obey him each day.
Hold on! God is with you to guide you, to
love you and to make a clear pathway.
