Keep going - you will get there!

“And as for you, brethren, do not become weary or lose heart in doing right [but continue in well-doing without weakening].” 2 Thessalonians 3:13, The Bible (Amplified Version)

When we make a decision to step outside the box and to move against the crowd,
at times we ask ourselves if we are crazy and negative voices seem so loud.
Taking steps to make something significant happen, is not an easy thing to do.
We may get exhausted, frustrated and upset when it appears that nothing is going through.

This scripture reminds us that during this journey of greatness we should not lose heart.
God knows we will get tired of doing the right thing, but his help has been here from the start.
At the times when it is the most painful or challenging, it may not feel good or seem fair.
But don’t lose hope – you are about to break through because you are nearly there!

Believe and go the distance!

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.” Deuteronomy 31:7, The Bible (King James Version)

To get what it is that we want to achieve, we have to make a choice to believe.
It could be a new job, a new life or a new business; we should go after what we want to receive!
It is not always easy to keep believing and taking steps forward to get to the finish line.
With each struggle and challenge tell yourself, “This goal (or thing) will be mine!”

This scripture reminds us that we should go the distance and “inherit the land.”
We should be strong and very courageous because what is ours is at hand.
We may not be literally marching to claim “land”, but instead we march to claim our dream.
With God on standby, waiting to help us - together we form a winning team.

“If” doesn’t exist!

Jesus said, "If? There are no 'ifs' among believers. Anything can happen." Mark 9:23, The Bible (The Message Version)

That word “If” causes us so much trouble because it grows from the soil of fear.
“What if I can’t get the money? What if this and what if that...causes us to be unclear.
When we say if we try to predict something based on no facts while trying to have control.
Each time we do this we stumble and try to play God but playing God isn’t our role!

This scripture reminds us that when you believe in something, then if doesn’t exist!
Either you make a choice to persevere or give in (but the latter option – try to resist).
Believing prompts God and the universe to move so that your dream and purpose come true.
Anything can happen, if you believe, but the decision starts with me and you.

Don’t be afraid of believing!

But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.” Mark 5:36 The Bible, (English Standard Version)

Sometimes we look at others with their wealth and good health and we want that too.
We think it’s because they have “luck” and we believe this can’t happen for me or you.
We may think that we have to be born into royalty to have the best things is life
and that all we can ever have is the average and to experience struggle and strife.

This scripture reminds us that we shouldn’t be afraid if we believe that we should have more!
We don’t have to wait for "luck" or hurt others for our gain - our belief will open the door!
Once we make a choice to go and get what we deserve, we must takes steps and pray too.
Don’t be afraid of having the best in life – this is all that God desires for me and you.

To Believe or Not to Believe – that is the question!

Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10: 9, The Bible (Amplified Version)

There is so much choice to believe in a number of things in the world today.
Some things (or people) bring answers and some things don’t last throughout the day.
On the other end of the spectrum, sometimes we don’t want to believe in anything at all!
Sometimes we don’t want to believe in ourselves and accept that we each have pathway or call.

This scripture reminds us that there is a choice to make about where we can place our belief.
If we take certain steps and believe in our hearts then we’ll experience a form of relief.
God doesn’t stalk us or force us, but he will send reminders that he is waiting right there.
The choice is ours...to be believe or not to believe - what a choice to bear!

Team G.O.D.

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31, The Bible (English Standard Version)

Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that come to pull us down.
Instead of taking life on the chin and smiling, we walk around with a frown.
Sometimes we search for friends and family to help us, but they don’t have the time.
We feel as if we are carrying the world on our shoulders and things are certainly not fine.

This scripture reminds us that no matter what comes our way, God is on our team!
What we see around us may look impossible, but things are not always what they seem.
If situations or people in our lives seem against us, be assured that you’re not alone.
You and God are the majority in everything and he will protect your personal zone.

Lean on Me

“A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24, The Bible (English Standard Version)

Life can be full of happy and exciting times and for the moments that are one-of-a-kind.
We can feel happy and elated and have a greater sense of having peace of mind.
Alongside the fantastic times we also have the times to test us and to test where we stand.
It can be mentally and emotionally exhausting when we don’t have an answer to hand.

This scripture reminds us that when tough times come, telling everyone doesn’t help.
Stretching ourselves across many people, doesn’t deliver clarity but instead causes us to yelp!
Thankfully, when we need someone to lean on during tough times, Jesus is waiting right there.
He has the ability to give us peace and direction because He really does care.

You have Superhero powers!

"Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." 1 John 4:4, The Bible (English Standard Version)

Some of us think that we are not really that special, when in fact we really are!
If only we allowed our better selves to shine, then our light could be seen from afar.
We hail and follow everyone else - supermodels, superheroes and people of fame,
But we choose not to pursue being our best selves because of unbelief or shame.

This scripture reminds us that when we accept and connect with Jesus, then he lives inside.
His presence and superpowers are with us 24 hours a day and this we should not hide.
The difference should be in our outlook and our levels of faith that can overcome anything!
We can all have superhero powers, if we allow Jesus Christ to connect with us within.

Your Ultimate Hero

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”  John 16: 33, The Bible (King James Version)

There are many people in legends and modern day stories that we hold in high esteem.
We follow and admire them with intensity, until it feels as if we can taste them in a dream.
Many of these people do significant things or they make people’s dreams come true.
These days, some of us stalk football players, celebrities and even ex-partners too...

This scripture reminds us that the ultimate hero has already conquered the world.
He did this painfully, yet saturated with love to save every man, woman boy and girl.
The Titans, Thor or Wayne Rooney – have nothing on Jesus and that’s a fact!
Jesus is the ultimate hero and this title will forever remain intact.

Who’s your Daddy?

“He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. If you stumble, they'll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling.” Psalm 91:11 The Bible (The Message Version)

Men who embrace the role of a Father are very special indeed.
They place themselves in 2nd and 3rd place so that they can meet their child’s need.
Not every man can stand tall and declare that they love, provide and protect.
Sadly, some men do not see anything wrong with being absent or enforcing neglect.

This scripture reminds us that no matter who we are we have access to a Dad.
God is the ultimate Father, who loves us dearly and will never treat us bad.
He has allocated angels to cover you and protect you along your way.
God can be your Father if you ask him and He will be there for you every, single day.

Dear God, Thank you and Happy (belated) Father’s Day.

Follow the Leader!

“This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?" Romans 8: 15, The Bible (The Message Version)

While we are alive, some of us decide to take a certain path or way.
Our choices to live life to the fullest or to not aspire higher are choices we make each day.
Some of us believe that life is hard and an abundant life only happens if you have “luck.”
Our decisions and who we follow will determine if life is freeing or if it keeps us stuck.

This scripture reminds us that God has plenty of abundant adventures waiting in store.
We may go through hard times, but good times will also knock at our door!
If we follow God as the ultimate leader, he will guide us to a life we fully deserve...
...where the best is the standard and where divine favour is always on reserve.

It’s a Family Affair

The Father dearly loves the Son and discloses to (shows) Him everything that He Himself does. And He will disclose to Him (let Him see) greater things yet than these, so that you may marvel and be full of wonder and astonishment.” John 5:20, The Bible (Amplified Version)

These days it seems rare that Fathers and Mothers will share stories about what is best.
Instead, we search for answers in glossy magazines, blogs or debates – trying to guess.
On the flip side, family structures continue to change and mutate over time.
There are layers of opinions to observe, some good and some not so fine.

This scripture reminds us that no matter what, for God, it is always a family affair.
As He does with Jesus, He wants to disclose how He does things and do His best to share.
Whatever guidance we need, God has already prepared an answer and the way.
God, you and I are supposed to be family; it is easy, why not connect with us today?

Let’s keep it in the family.

Copy-cat

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.John 5:19, The Bible (English Standard Version)

Most people know that being a copy-cat can be annoying in the wrong context or place.
Some people copy-cat criminal activity or embarrass others right in front of their face.
Copying others (while causing harm or trouble) is not the purpose of this type of duplication.
What we copy and forward onto others can attract blessings or harm for the global nation.

This scripture reminds us that being a copy-cat have benefits when we follow someone good.
Jesus himself was a copy-cat; ensuring that he copied God in every way that he could.
If we choose to be copycats too, then we can do great works and make a significant change.
When we copy God and follow his guidance, attracting blessings will be nothing strange.

24/7 Dad available here!

I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence!” Psalm 139: 7, The Bible (New Living Translation)

The world has wonderful things to experience, but sometimes we feel deep pain.
Some of us experience neglect or loss of a parent or a father or mother who fails us again.
Walking around feeling wounded, is not God’s intention for us at all.
Everyone needs someone who is there, so that they can catch us when we fall.

This scripture reminds us that no matter what, we have a Dad who does care.
It doesn’t matter if we try to run, ignore or hide – he is waiting right there.
God is the ultimate father, whether you know your earthly Dad or not.
He is available 24/7 and you will find that only He can really fill the spot.

Daddy! Help!

“Going a little ahead, he (Jesus) fell to the ground and prayed for a way out: "Papa, Father, you can—can't you?—get me out of this. Take this cup away from me. But please, not what I want—what do you want?" Mark 14:35 – 36, The Bible (The Message Version)

As children, no matter how old we are, we can get ourselves into trouble.
We try to figure it out or hide, but the problems don’t go away, instead they double.
Sometimes leaning on our family, friends, partners, husbands or wives doesn’t meet the need.
Where can we go? Who can we turn to? Who will listen out for our cry or pled?

This scripture reminds us that Jesus called on God for help when he was feeling weak.
God is waiting - ready to comfort us, ready to renew us, if Him we decide to seek.
The best escape strategy can be found in God the Father who is eternal and all powerful too.
So when you say, “Daddy! Help!” be confident that He will be there and show you what to do.

You are not alone!

“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” Psalm 118:6, The Bible (King James Version)

Although there are over six billion people on the earth, sometimes we still feel alone.
To fill the gap, we join groups and clubs trying desperately to find belonging or a home.
Sometimes people do things to hurt and isolate us because of their jealous thoughts and mind.
We ask why loneliness feels so heavy when others chose to be unkind.

This scripture reminds us of the fact that God is with us and He’s on our side.
God’s power and presence specialises in helping us and feelings of loneliness he can override!
So the next time that you feel alone as if nobody is there to defend you or to care,
Say boldly, “What can man do unto me?” With God watching, people better not dare!

How to elbow FEAR out of the way!

“There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].” 1 John 4:18, The Bible (Amplified Version)

The thought of fear or the thought of failure hinders us from achieving our dreams.
We would rather talk ourselves out of what we really want while secretly bursting at the seams.
We wrestle with “what ifs” deep down inside and we pretend that all is well.
We really want to swap our lives for a piece of heaven rather than experiencing hell.

This scripture reminds us that we can push fear out of the way if we use love.
Love for God, love for ourselves, others and our dreams can help us reach the stars above.
Being grounded in God’s love means that we can stop being afraid of who we can be.
God wants us to live our dreams as the awesome people that we are – fearless and free!

What’s love got to do with it? (ALOT!)

“...Love others as well as you love yourself.” Matthew 22:39, The Bible (The Message Version)

Our communities and society overall are on the hunt for peace and love.
Some think they find it in money or things or in one person who fits them like a glove.
The people around us reflect the way that we think about who we are.
Do you think that you are not worth it? Or are you a trailblazer or a superstar?

This scripture reminds us that I should love you in the way that I love me.
But if I do not care about myself then how can true love be reflected for all to see?
Holding ourselves as unique and valuable means that we can show others the same.
Loving and valuing yourself means that you can contribute to changing the love game.

The Care-free Life

"Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.” Matthew 6:26, The Bible (The Message Version)

Pursuing a career, vocation, charity work or a business is important to us all.
At times, we go over the edge and chase after every penny which can cause us to fall.
Working over the over-time causes us to become so attached to the role we play.
But without balance, this can cause stress and sickness – which is not God’s way!

This scripture reminds us that in God’s eyes we are worth more than just a job.
Seeing us chase every penny (while passing someone in need) must make Him sob.
We are all worth more than the titles and positions that the world says we should be.
God is there to give us love, balance and a permanent place in him to be care-free.
